Dunvegan located on the Gauteng East Rand, is a suburb in Edenvale and forms part of the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality.

Dunvegan is an upmarket well-established suburb, situated close to excellent schools, shopping centres and transport routes. The suburb offers quality leisure, sporting and medical facilities. It is a safe and pleasant area bordering the Glendower Golf Course, where families can walk their dogs and take their children to the park.

The average winter temperature is 16° Celsius, with the average summer temperature being 25° Celsius.

Dunvegan is situated approximately 10 km from O.R. Tambo International Airport, 13 km from the Johannesburg city centre and is located 12km by road from Sandton and about 9km from the closest Gautrain station.

Furthermore, the planned East Rand aerotropolis and the plans for the R84 billion smart city in Modderfontein may boost the popularity of the area even further in the next few years.
